Open letter to the UK Government: New thinking required over Iran’s nuclear programme

“Sir John Thomson has been promoting the idea of converting Iran’s enrichment facility into a sophisticated multinational operation. He deals in this letter with the two principle objections to his idea: that Iran would use this as a cloak for covert operations; and that Iran would expropriate the facilities. Both would be more difficult for Iran with international personnel running around the place; and the sophisticated black-box technology used would be more difficult for Iran to reverse engineer.” – Paul Ingram
