Elizabeth was a BASIC patron before becoming a Board member. She is a musician and feature writer for fRoots magazine, and has worked on national daily and weekly publications. She is working on TV documentaries in London and New York, and has produced and presented groundbreaking radio programmes for Channel 4 Radio and for BBC Radio 3. She was on the judging panel and steering committee for the World Music Awards and has played with bands as diverse as Primal Scream and Belinda Carlisle.
