Ambassador Thomas Graham Jr.


Thomas Graham, Jr, is chair of the Cypress Fund for Peace and Security and executive chair of Thorium Power Ltd. He is one of the world's leading experts in nuclear non-proliferation and as a senior US diplomat was involved in negotiating every major international arms control and non-proliferation agreement for the past 35 years. In 1993, he was acting director of the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency and in 1994 its acting deputy director; he was its general counsel for 15 years. As the special representative of the President of the United States for Arms Control, Non-Proliferation, and Disarmament, he successfully led US government efforts to achieve the permanent extension of the NPT.
