Vision Statement on European Security

NATO is preparing six documents for the April Summit. The document outlining a vision statement on European security is intended to address NATO's position in the structure of European security organizations, NATO-Russia relations, and NATO-Mediterranean relations. The document is likely to highlight the theme of "interlocking institutions," thereby laying the groundwork for greater transparency and cooperation with additional security organizations like the OSCE and the WEU.

This page includes updates concerning that document as well as a link to the chapter on this document in BASIC's Risk Reduction Strategy for NATO report.
