Defence Committee to Issue Report on Eve of NATO Summit

24 February 1999

During a House of Commons Defence Select Committee hearing on February 17^th Committee Chairman Bruce George confirmed that the Committee report on the future of NATO will be completed and released just prior to the summit. Analysts believe that the late release of the study will have little effect on the debate in Alliance capitals prior to the Washington Summit.
