BASIC's funders
Our funding comes from a wide group of foundations and some individual and government donors. We are grateful to all them for their support. If you are interested in helping us to shape transatlantic strategies for a more secure world and act to make a difference, please go to our donate page .
The Foundation has been making grants since 1967 to solve social and environmental problems in the US and around the world.
The Fund is the largest grant-making foundation in the US dedicated exclusively to security and peace funding.
The FCO provides grants to bodies whose aims fit with their targeted objectives. It has given BASIC funding to work on advancing a WMD-free zone in the Middle East.
The Embassy has funded BASIC to organize a conference in Doha in March 2012 on the topic of “Nuclear Non-Proliferation in the Gulf”.
The PPCF is a grant-giving trust that supports the development of ways of resolving violent conflicts peacefully and addressing their underlying causes.
The Mulberry Trust was set up as a family charitable trust. The name comes from the Mulberry tree which, with time, will grow and bear fruit.
