Members of the Board, currently chaired by Dr Trevor McCrisken, have top-level experience of nuclear weapons within the scientific, political and diplomatic arenas. It is responsible for determining the strategic and policy direction of BASIC, supervising its management and financial performance, and ensuring the charity adheres to Charity Commission and US 501(c)3 non-profit organization regulations.
